Pair of mid-century french provincial chairs renewed and ready to go home. Part of my client’s family for decades and still in great shape structurally, they were perfect candidates for a renewal. We worked together to come up with a custom design plan of multiple fabrics (purchased through Calico Corners), contrasting cording and a burlap accent. Here is a closer view of the burlap trim:
I love the added texture of the burlap! The mixture of pattern and texture along with a more contemporary button design have all combined to update these chairs into the 21st century. The insides of the chairs include re-tied springs, new foam/insulpad/richdek and walnut stained legs (we eliminated the skirt).
